Structural steel is precision work. The wrong sized beam, the wrong weld, the wrong placement — and the whole structure suffers. We've been fabricating and installing structural steel for residential and commercial projects since 2006, and our work holds up to engineer's review, building inspection, and decades of service.
Common structural steel projects
- Steel beams to remove load-bearing walls in residential renovations
- Columns to support second-story additions, basements with sagging floors, or expanded living spaces
- Mezzanines & lofts in warehouses, garages, and commercial spaces
- Stair stringers — including mono-stringer designs for our signature floating staircases
- Custom brackets, plates, and connectors for unusual structural conditions
- Reinforcement and retrofit for older buildings or modified loads
Every structural project starts with the engineer's drawings or, when there isn't an engineer yet, a referral to one we trust. We fabricate in our Cleveland, GA shop, transport to your site, and erect with our own team and equipment.
Why this matters in north Georgia
A lot of homes in our area were built decades ago on log piers, undersized beams, or DIY structural decisions. When floors start to sag or owners want to open up a floor plan, structural steel is often what makes it possible. We handle this kind of work when it comes up — including the quiet basement column work that stops a floor from sagging without anyone ever seeing it.
If you're not sure whether your project needs structural steel, send us photos and a description. We'll tell you straight whether we can help, whether you need an engineer first, or whether what you really need is something else entirely.
