Clermont Iron Works has been fabricating custom metalwork since 2006 — that's 20 years and two generations of experience. We're veteran-owned and family-run, right here in Cleveland, Georgia.

Do you offer free estimates?

How much does a custom railing cost?

Our railings start at $65 per linear foot for a standard configuration. Final price depends on length, picket and post size, mounting, and finish. Try our Quote Builder to estimate your specific project.
How long does a custom floating staircase take?

Most floating staircase projects take 6–10 weeks from design approval to installation. Larger or more complex designs may take longer. We schedule a site visit, finalize design and engineering, then fabricate and install with our own crew.
What finishes do you offer?

We powder coat in flat black, satin black, and gloss black in-house. For custom colors we partner with Georgia Powder Coating, who offer a full color chart. We also offer raw/primed if you'd like to finish it yourself.
Do you do floating staircases?

Absolutely — floating and open-riser staircases are one of our signature specialties. Each one is structurally engineered, fabricated in our shop, and installed by our own team.
Can you cut custom CNC plasma parts?

Yes. We run a CNC plasma table and can cut custom metal parts, signs, brackets, and decorative pieces. We cut mild steel up to 3/4 inch, stainless and aluminum up to 1/2 inch. Most custom CNC jobs are ready within two weeks.
Do you make custom steel windows and doors?

Yes — custom steel-frame windows and doors are a regular part of our work. We build them to your exact opening dimensions, with thin sightlines, traditional or modern divisions, and fixed or operable configurations.
Do you do work in Atlanta?

Yes, we regularly take projects in Atlanta, Buckhead, Johns Creek, and the surrounding metro area. Atlanta is about an hour from our shop, and we specialize in floating staircases, structural steel, ornate ironwork, and custom steel windows for high-end residential projects.
Do you handle commercial and industrial work?

Definitely. We fabricate structural steel, mezzanines, handrails, guardrails, access gates, shipping pallets, assembly fixtures, and lifting devices for commercial and industrial clients.

Do you offer cable railing?

We do cable railing by request — it's not in our standard online builder since it's a smaller part of our work, but just give us a call or send a message and we'll quote it for you.
